Welcome to the
Mesa County Democratic Party

Welcome to the Mesa County Democratic Party !!!

WOW!! Exciting time to be a Democrat here in Mesa County!!  We had over 2500 enthusiastic Democrats at our caucuses in February.  Then on March 1st we had an overflow crowd of nearly 700 attend our County Convention/Assembly!!  At the Assembly I introduced Dan Robinson and Dickie D. Lewis, both Commissioner candidates.  Both of them are very qualified and committed to winning so please give them your support, both moral and financial.  Our very popular State Rep.  Bernie Buescher also addressed the crowd and was also unanimously elected as our candidate.  He represents the 55th Dist. and is now Chair of the  Joint Budget Committee and is being considered ,statewide, as the next Speaker of the House.!!

Many of the Democrats in attendance at the Convention/Assembly wanted to go to Colo. Springs in May as delegatesto the State Convention, either supporting Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton.  The supporters of each  candidate elected their delegates and alternates and we will have 122+ in attendance.!!  Largest contingency ever!!

Our summer headquarters will be at 251 Colorado Ave. and we will have a Grand Opening the evening of May 30th!!  Plan to join the festivities!  We always need volunteers so if you have a few hours please let us know.  Leave a message at 248-9224 and we will put you on the list.

And, look for us at the all the festivals and parades this summer...we'll be there!!  And we'll also be at the Farmers Market on Thurs. evenings.  We weren't allowed to set up  every week but we'll be there as often as they let us!!

Keep us the enthusiasm!!  With your help we WILL elect Democrats this November!!
